My film making days started when I was back in high school and I filmed a short movie for my brother’s 8th Grade school project. Little did I know at the time, that I would be paving the way to fund my cruising dream all these years later! But seriously, if we really were going to depend on selling our DVDs to fund our cruising, I’m not sure if I would have even made it through the almost 3 year refit process!
Our First DVD release will be of the 2008 Baja Ha-ha Cruisers Rally. We participated in the rally in 2007 and had such a great time that we decided to use the 2008 Ha-ha as a kick off to our cruise. For years we had heard about the famous West Coast rally and the entire event is just tailor made to highlight the great cruising found in Baja and the great people that make up the cruising community.
The Ha-ha departed San Diego on October 27th 2008 and ended in Cabo San Lucas on November 8th. We are currently working on editing the hundreds of hours of video and thousands of photos and put them together with some great cruising music! Like everything cruising related, our orginal timeline for having the DVD ready for release fell behind schedule, but we are targeting May of 2009 for it's release
